1920’s Stacking Chairs – Set Of Four
It’s hard to date them precisiely but we reckon these are Church/School chairs from the 1920’s. We have never seen them before and the clues to their age are the construction and design of the leg as well as the extraordinary patina. We have cleaned them, that’s all. The rich elm seeping through the darker over stain is just beautiful. If you want an uber stylish chair that you won’t see again this will hit the spot. Seat Height 43 cm simply because people were smaller back in the 1920’s so these are on the low side for dining or perfect as a decorative side chair. We have a number of chairs available and are selling them in sets of four, six and eight but please contact us for different quantities.
Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
