The slender, elongated form of this highly elegant sculpture is reminiscent of the bronzes of Salvador Dalí. Appearing to depict a graceful woman in a dress, perhaps a flamenco dancer, the artist captures a wonderful, fleeting sense of movement of the figure, who is posed on top of a cylindrical marble pedestal. This piece would look magnificent as part of a contemporary, stylish interior.

'Perecoll' is a highly esteemed Catalan artist, born in Barcelona in 1948. He is best known for his paintings and sculptures, of which he has over forty individual exhibitions, and which are also frequently successful at auction. The artist's iconic sculptures have travelled all around the world, from Barcelona to Brussels, Munich, Paris, London, Madrid, the Canary Islands, Tokyo and Miami. His work shows recurring motifs of elongated or abstracted human forms, as can be seen in this piece.

Combining a painter's eye and a dealer's mind, sourcing and selling artworks is Modern Decorative's passion.

Our founder, who has been a painter for many years, has over 35 years experience in the trade.

Our ethos is always 'the best signature is the painting itself'.

Originally based on London's iconic Portobello Road, we realised the potential of sourcing underrated and underpriced art and antiques in France and Spain, so we have now expanded our operations from Richmond to include Barcelona.

As an online company, we are constantly updating our website with new pieces, but please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any requests. Where possible, we would be happy to arrange an appointment for you to view works in person.
