Combining a painter's eye and a dealer's mind, sourcing and selling artworks is Modern Decorative's passion.

Our founder, who has been a painter for many years, has over 35 years experience in the trade.

Our ethos is always 'the best signature is the painting itself'.

Originally based on London's iconic Portobello Road, we realised the potential of sourcing underrated and underpriced art and antiques in France and Spain, so we have now expanded our operations from Richmond to include Barcelona.

We find and sell exceptional pieces from across Europe, from the 19th century to contemporary, to private collectors, businesses, interior designers and those that just want to make their homes and work spaces more beautiful.

As an online company, we are constantly updating our website with new pieces, but please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any requests. Where possible, we would be happy to arrange an appointment for you to view works in person.

We would be delighted to hear if you have works for sale. We are always pleased to look at individual works and complete studio collections.
