This is a beautiful Victorian country house table – possibly used originally as a dairy table or scullery table – which would make an eye-catching console or side table. The original old paint finish has great texture, particularly the green paint on the drawer handles and bun feet. The table top is pine, and has some marks, as would be expected. Overall it’s in good shape, given its age, and is quite unique.

Mole Vintage is run by husband and wife, Kevin and Sara Moore and grew out of our shared enthusiasm for sourcing unusual and characterful vintage items.  We are not especially interested in (or expert about) high-end antiques, or followers of current trends, nor bound by a particular period, but we are drawn to pieces which have a strong presence.  Either because of their inherent quality and design, or because they are something unique or eye-catching.

Much, but not all, of our furniture, lighting, mirrors and decorative items are sourced in France, where we have developed a great network of local dealers since we started six years ago.
