Made on the Isle of Man, from 'reclaimed' or 'found' timbers, this chair was used for restraining and is thought to be from an asylum or prison. Constructed in the early 19th century, this is a truly rare and macabre item. The chair comes with a written appraisal from Bernard D Cotton to the previous owner.

This is us.... Nics Nacs.

Run by myself, Nicola and my husband, Kris, from our 3000 sq ft showroom located on our farm in Warrington, Cheshire.

We started the business 5 years ago buying and selling antiques and quirky items and things have grown from there! We don't have a particular genre but love early oak and vernacular furniture, and of course the weird and wonderful.

We upload new stock to our website weekly and post daily on social media.

Trade appointments at our showroom are available through the week and we open to the public every Sunday by appointment.

We hope you enjoy browsing our stock.
