A Charlotte Perriand Les Arc chair c1967.

A sought after and rare design classic, this chair was used in the Les Arc ski resort in Savoie, France, designed by Charlotte Perriand. The chair design is often attributed to her but it's likely that they were sourced in bulk from the Italian manufacturer DalVera.

I first bought one of these for £1.50 in a junk shop when I was 17 (a long time ago). I didn't know what it was just that I loved it. The shop had around 50 chairs. #anyonegotatimemachine

This chair has chrome legs and a tan leather sling, with age related marks, which add to it's charm, in my eyes.

No43Collectables is the husband and wife team of Gaynor and Dave Prior. Based in Cumbria and named after one of their pet sheep, No43, they have a passion for renovation and treasure hunting.

Gaynor is the main buyer, with a love of chinoiserie, faux bamboo, carved oak, vintage movie posters, bones, Sex Pistols and anything with an elephant. She basically buys what she loves or whatever catches her eye. Dave, on the other hand, can turn his hand to most renovation projects and specialises in lighting.

No43’s stock is available to view by appointment, please get in touch. As soon as Antique Fairs start rolling again, No43 will hit the road, starting with Newark Antiques Fair.
