English, 19th century Oak side table.
Turned legs, single drawer with two knobs.
Originally this piece came from St Mary's Abbey in Colwich.
The back board on the table has an inscription reading ' Top Altar Bread Room'
Also there is a paper label with reference to one of the sisters.

The side table could be easily used as a desk.

Signs of use, age, wear as pictured.
