Rare 19th century american double sided Ingersoll watches advertising shop sign. “The watch that made the dollar famous”. In the 19th century Ingersoll was the first company who, by the example of Henri Ford, made a production line for watches. They wanted to produce good, pricise and affordable watches. Ingersoll produced 8000pieces per day in 1899 who where sold for a Dollar each. Over the years 3 milion pieces where sold. Yankee Ingersoll Dolar watch.
