An Eames RAR Plastic Upholstered Rocking Chair by Herman Miller.This particular example is in striking racing green upholstery with a white fibreglass base. It was made by Summits Plastics as denoted by their embossed ‘S’ stamp in a circle on the seat base. In 1953 Herman Miller outsourced the production to various external manufacturers as is the case with this item. With the raised Herman Miller logo on the seat base. In good condition, with fully restored rockers.
