VINTAGE MID-CENTURY ORIGINAL OIL PAINTING
Signed ‘M. Harmsworth’ and dated ‘1968’.

Depicting a landscape, probably Southern European with whitewashed houses dotted in amongst fields with the sea in the background.

Painted using quick, confident brushstrokes using a bold colour palette that really works well to evoke the feeling of the landscape at that moment in time.

The painting itself is in good vintage order with no real damage with only minimal wear commensurate with age.
