Beautiful large white vintage French tureen base. Fantastic shape and detail on the handles, with unusual contrasting gold colour highlighting the detail on the handles and rim. The tureen is in good condition for its age, a little age related tea staining and wear to the glaze. There is a hairline crack to one side of the handle - see photos. The tureen can continue to be used for its intended purpose, excellent for special occasions and fine dinning. However it would also display really well in the home, maybe as a planter or stacked with other tureen bases, for a beautiful French Nordic Style/ French Shabby Chic/ Farmhouse kitchen decor height 20 cm, width 34 cm or approx. 8" x 13" your parcel will be very carefully wrapped and shipped with tracking within three working days
