Solid wood cupboard, sideboard, dresser or buffet with a beautiful muted light grey distressed and chippy paint.

This is a very heavy and solidly constructed cupboard. Thick solid wood throughout, with two deep drawers over a two door cupboard with a fixed solid wood internal shelf.

It offers excellent storage solutions for most rooms in the house, but would also be suitable for use in a shop, restaurant etc, for a unique individual feel.

The two drawers are deep and measure height 19 cm x width 46cm x depth 47 cm. They have dove tail joints, solid wood construction and metal cup handles.

The dresser top is made from solid wood planks and has a strip of wood across the back which probably would have originally seated a dresser top.

The cupboard doors are fixed with an internal bolt to secure one door and the other is fixed by an original metal internal latch. Inside the cupboard is painted with some signs of wear

The cupboard has been painted in a light grey matt paint some time in the past which has aged and worn beautifully revealing a white paint and bare wood underneath in places.

This is the perfect piece of useable home storage, which provides a beautiful unique look for the home.

height 86 cm, width 122 cm, depth 55 cm

Welcome to Restored2bloved, a small family run business that has evolved from a passion for sourcing beautiful vintage and retro pieces to create a unique, nostalgic and interesting feel to my home and garden.
My style is strongly influenced by cottage gardens, rustic country homes, brocante and shabby chic. I love things that are both beautiful and practical and find that vintage items can add so much colour and personality to your home. I am a keen gardener growing mostly cottage garden plants and I love using vintage pieces to provide interesting and beautiful  planters and vases to display flowers in the home and garden.

Sourcing stock is a brilliant and exciting part of the job, I love finding that perfect piece for the shop. Each piece is an original vintage item, sourced from varying locations in England and France. My other passion is restoring or revamping beautiful pieces of furniture, bringing them back to their former glory so they can be used and loved in their new home.
So that's a bit about me,  I hope you enjoy browsing in the shop and if you buy something I hope you love it as much as I do.
