Item Details
Quite wonderful late 19th-C. English majolica whimsical brown honey pitcher / jug.
The bear is in an active pose, his open mouth forming the spout. The bear is holding a pale brown scoop that forms the top opening of the pitcher, and a honey dipping spoon hooked through the scoop, forming the handle.
The bowl of the spoon and the interior of the jug are glazed in a bright pink (The original colour rather than turquoise).
