A wonderful example of a large vintage articulated nickel desk lamp.
A handsome, unusual lamp featuring an heavy iron filled base & articulated arm with double ball-joints supporting a beautifully shaped shade.
Wonderful quality in a versatile design which would fit in anywhere.
Wired in twisted black flex with an inline switch.
Early to mid 20th century, likely 1930's.
Wear commensurate with age, great condition overall. The wiring on this lamp runs through the rear of the shade & although protected against heat, MUST always be used with a bulb which operates at a low temperature (LED candle bulbs are perfect for this type of lamp).
UK courier service available at £15 tracked & signed for 24 hour delivery.

Over the last few years, I've supplied interior designers, television & film companies, major retail outlets & individual collectors and buyers in the UK & beyond through various online selling sites. I take a keen interest in anything which looks like it has a story to tell, love a 'bit of character' & remain fascinated with old typography, curios of a bygone era and travel & retail related pieces. While much of my business is conducted online, viewings are available by appointment so please don't hesitate to get in touch & I look forward to hearing from you!
