Taupe Mek Elek Machinist Lamps

A stunning pair of a vintage industrial Mek Elek lamps.
An exceptional pair meticulously restored Mek Elek lamps with the usual amazing build quality & the wonderful raw finish highlighting the superb level of engineering on these industrial classics. The lamps boasts articulated arms with the trademark 'cog' joints, heavy cast iron bases & rare original taupe & white enamel shades. The taupe shades distinguished these lamps from the more common green variety & were reserved for government use only, both are marked at the joint with the crown stamp and the letters ER. Superb examples in every way.
Wired in twisted black flex & mounted on fitting cast iron disks for added stability.
Price is per lamp with two available.
Excellent condition, a couple of light marks to the bases.
Measurement given(132cm) is a flat out measurement (lamp fully extended) & overall height depends on position. The lamp can be removed from the cast iron disk prior to sending on request.
UK courier service available at £17 tracked & signed for 24 hour delivery.
All electrical items should be be checked and / or installed by a qualified electrician prior to use.
