A beautiful antique taxidermy highland stag mount.
A wonderful piece of taxidermy of excellent proportions, exceptionally well modelled & mounted on a solid mahogany shield finished with its original painted details entitled 'Strathbran 38, A.S'. Unusually quite small for a Sika deer stag yet perfectly formed, attributed to John McPherson of Inverness.
Wear commensurate with age, good overall, untouched original condition showing the usual signs of age with a some loss to the left ear tip which does not detract.
Measurements are taken from furthest points & include the shield.
UK courier service available at £17 tracked & signed for 24 hour delivery.
