This is a fantastic quality ‘back bar‘, measuring nearly 4m long.

I can see it with a mirror back but still revealing the lovely carved decoration at the top, perhaps we could add a little gilt and colour and subtly ‘knock it back‘, glass shelves or hidden LED lights under the arches. I think it would look fantastic and this is why it's one of Martin's favourites - a 'one off opportunity’.

I have also got an 18th Century Gothic panel, which is of similar length which one could use and make into a bar to put in front (see last photograph), we can discuss what you would like to do and give you a price. Please contact us for more information.

In 1978 Martin Taylor started his antiques company specialising in furniture from the eighteenth century to the 1930’s. His particular love was Victorian and Edwardian furniture. As time went by he found that more and more people bought his furniture for hotels, restaurants and pubs as centrepieces or bought sets of reclaimed chairs for dining.

Since 2008 Taylor's Classics has brought together a unique collection of chairs, tables, stools and benches that represent the best in British furniture over the past 250 years from Chippendale to Arts and Crafts. Our new reproduction furniture has been manufactured especially for the contract and hospitality markets.

All this is run alongside selling our original antique and vintage pieces from our 40,000 square foot warehouse, showrooms, factory and offices in Stafford.
