A bit of a showstopper ideally in a Welsh pub with the carved dragons on the end

This is a fantastic quality refectory table with some really quirky details. The timber is fantastic, well-chosen, well-figured and is a lovely original colour. The trestle ends have carved Dragon's, the centre stretcher is a lovely, unusual shape and the feet are not like any I have seen on a refectory table before!

It would be a generous four-seater dining table in a restaurant, or you could get six or eight people round in a pub all sitting on stools. I really like.

We will check it over, make sure it's all sturdy wash it down, wax it up and make sure it's ready to rock 'n' roll before it leaves our warehouse in Stafford.

In 1978 Martin Taylor started his antiques company specialising in furniture from the eighteenth century to the 1930’s. His particular love was Victorian and Edwardian furniture. As time went by he found that more and more people bought his furniture for hotels, restaurants and pubs as centrepieces or bought sets of reclaimed chairs for dining.

Since 2008 Taylor's Classics has brought together a unique collection of chairs, tables, stools and benches that represent the best in British furniture over the past 250 years from Chippendale to Arts and Crafts. Our new reproduction furniture has been manufactured especially for the contract and hospitality markets.

All this is run alongside selling our original antique and vintage pieces from our 40,000 square foot warehouse, showrooms, factory and offices in Stafford.
