A fine quality late 19th century three tier dumb waiter in oak, circa 1880

This is a really fine quality piece of English furniture. The timber selection is fantastic with each shelf being made of the finest quartersawn oak. We make furniture in our workshop, and to make this today would be well over four figures! With multi spindle decoration and an unusual pair of single draws to the centre, it would be ideal in a restaurant, hall or on a landing. It has multiple purposes and is a really lovely, attractive piece of furniture.

We will check it over, wax it up and make sure it is ready to rock!

In 1978 Martin Taylor started his antiques company specialising in furniture from the eighteenth century to the 1930’s. His particular love was Victorian and Edwardian furniture. As time went by he found that more and more people bought his furniture for hotels, restaurants and pubs as centrepieces or bought sets of reclaimed chairs for dining.

Since 2008 Taylor's Classics has brought together a unique collection of chairs, tables, stools and benches that represent the best in British furniture over the past 250 years from Chippendale to Arts and Crafts. Our new reproduction furniture has been manufactured especially for the contract and hospitality markets.

All this is run alongside selling our original antique and vintage pieces from our 40,000 square foot warehouse, showrooms, factory and offices in Stafford.
