I love this Gymnasium Bench and just had to buy it. I love it when an antique has an up to date function. This bench dates back to 1910 and is from Hulme Grammar School. A fantastic item with original racking underneath to store your shoes. I wonder how many children sat on this bench with their pumps underneath?? A great functional piece for a hallway or boot room.
The bench is 81" in length which is 6ft 9" - the racking underneath is 53.5" in length.
