Stunning late 19th century shop counter and cabinet acquired from a Devonshire pharmacy.

Originating from pharmacy in Barnstaple, North Devon, this sixteen drawer cabinet has been lovingly restored to its former glory.

The cabinet's history and time aged character have been sympathetically maintained.

The drawers, of varying sizes, all have their original locks (no key) and have been given beautiful new high quality bronze fluted cup handles.

To one end is a useful open storage area where any style of storage container/basket can be added. The industrial basket seen photographed is not included but is available to purchase separately (see our other items. Item no: TBR164).

Interestingly, still present in one of the drawers is a Victorian doctor's sick note (see photo).

Sturdy, solid and very heavy.

An absolutely gorgeous item of furniture that would truly shine in both a home or retail environment.
