19th Century Carved Wood Double Sided Gold Leaf Antique French Pharmacy Sign
For Sale in this LOT is a one off very rare and highly decorative antique double sided handmade wooden gold leaf Pharmacy (Pharmacie) sign with original cast iron fixing bracket. A completely untouched and very rare French Pharmacy sign, this item is highly collectable and a complete on off item to market. The item is made from a heavy quality wood, hand painted (gold leaf) text and would have originally been placed outside the main village pharmacy. The item obviously shows wear and tear due to age and use. This is depicted in the close up photos provided and detailed below, please review this carefully and you have any questions propose them before a purchase is made to avoid any disappointment. In conclusion this is a very rare french pharmaceutical handmade artefact that has never been for sale on the market previously, obtained from a private collection and very decorative, nostalgic and collectable. Whoever purchase this item will not be disappointed.

Dimensions: L (sign alone) 46” x H 12.5” x D 1.2” / L (with cast bracket) 72”

Condition: The item completely solid and structurally sound, the item is antique and this is shown in the marks across the wood , fading and flacking of the gold leaf paint, rust across the bracket and aged wood cracks across the beam of the sign ( close up photos show all these details ).
