Early 20th Century Oversized Brass Articulated Lamp

We are proud to offer one of the largest English brass articulated lamps we have been lucky enough to uncover. With a solid brass base, elegant “S” shaped adjustable neck with enamel green shade still in place. This example stands 33” tall and will make a great statement piece of light in any stylised interior design space. In our opinion this elegant example resembles an old English streetlight, which is why we felt it was a great piece of English lighting design.
Size in inches approx.: H 33” x W 8.5” x D 17”
Period: 1920 - 1940
Material: Brass and Enamel
Origin: United Kingdom
Condition: Good

Completely solid in structure and form, naturally faded across the brass surface. Aged patina due to use. In great condition for its age, it is exceedingly difficult to photograph all the areas on this piece. Therefore, we strongly suggest reviewing all the photos provided as part of this advert and propose questions where sections / condition is unclear to avoid disappointment when purchasing.

These lamps have recently been rewired to a UK 240v power source, however its suggested that you get them checked for safety before use by a qualified electrician. The House of Antiques do not claim responsibility for these items safety after they have been purchased.
