Item Description

Early 20th century barbers point of sale hair comb and brush We share what we love, and we love this rare example of an oversized point of sale barbers hair comb and brush. Dated from the early to mid-20th century, the comb is made from a hard plastic and stamped H Fishlove & Co Chicago USA. The wooden brush has metal bristles and is stamped Hygex made in England. Used as promotional items in a barber shop at one point. They are very quirky, and we have never seen the like. Size of inches: H 5 x W 20 x D 6 Condition: Aged Origin: England and USA Age: 1920 - 1940 Completely solid in structure and form, Natural aging across all surfaces, the wooden surface of the brush is worn in sections with a few bristles missing. Unfortunately, we cannot show all areas of these items, but we have done our best to show as much as we can. If you want to see more pics or know more details, please get in touch with us before making a purchase.
