Early 20th Century English Butchers Shop Display
We share what we love, and we love this charming example of an early 20th century ceramic butchers shop display. In the form of a pig this oversized example showing lots of natural craquelure surface effect, hand painted and would likely have sat in the window of a butcher’s shop at some point. A great piece of kitchen décor.
Size of inches: H 15” x W 22” x D 8”
Completely solid in structure and form, with natural wear and patination across all surfaces due to age and use, the ceramic has a craquelure effect across most of its surface, with light blemishes in areas. An untouched example with no breaks or loss.
