Early 20th Century Double Sided French Butchers Trade Sign
We are proud to offer a rare hand-crafted metal double sided French butchers trade sign. Hand painted surface with its original 3 metal hanging hooks still in place. In completely original condition and untouched in form. One side is more visually worn than the other. We feel this item would look amazing hung in a kitchen space.
Size in inches approx.: H 26” x W 79” x D 0.30”
Period: Early 20th Century
Material: Metal
Origin: France
Condition: Aged
Completely solid in structure and form, aged naturally due to being outside all its life, original paint still intact, one side is better than the other. Rust in places, loss of detail across the painted sections, hooks are rusted but strong due to being wrought item in form. A heavy 25kg / 30KG item which is reflected in the shipping costs for this item.
This is an aged object so expect age related wear as the photos aim to show however it is exceedingly difficult to photograph all the areas on this piece. Therefore, we strongly suggest reviewing all the photos provided as part of this advert and propose questions where sections / condition is unclear to avoid disappointment when purchasing.
