19th Century English chinoiserie mirror
We are proud to offer a superb example of an English 19th Century dressing mirror. Lacquered with chinoiserie style decoration and still with its original mirror plate firmly in place. A true interior design object these days or would fit perfectly sat on a large county house dresser.
Size in inches: H 23” x W 22” x D 13”
Period: 19th Century
Material: Wood and Glass
Origin: England
Condition: Good
Completely solid in structure and form, with a natural patination across the surface. Loss and aging of painted areas but still in good strong colours, the mirror has a slight bend to the right however this is not visible from the front. Its not broken or damaged visibly and has stood the test of time with good use and function. A true object of English craftsmanship. Its exceedingly difficult to photograph all the areas in this piece, therefore we strongly suggest reviewing all the photos provided as part of this advert and propose questions where sections are unclear to avoid disappointment.
