Early 20th Century English Clam Shell Work Bench Lamp
A highly decorative and unique English articulated workshop lamp. With a copper clam shell light shade and cast metal adjustable sections. This light fitting would likely have been put together in a workshop by an engineer of sorts. Unusual, Unique, and very sculptural in form. Recently rewired and ready to use.
Size inches: H 33 x W 4.5 x D 4.5
Completely solid in structure and form, with natural wear and patination across all surfaces due to age and use. Rust and a deep Verdigris across metal surfaces as shown. In overall presentable condition considering its age and years of use. Rewired to a UK 240v Output – we suggest all lighting purchased from The House of Antiques be fitted by an expert after a purchase is made.
