Large 42inch 19th Century Dutch Baroque Style Repousse Cushion Mirror
We are proud to offer a large 19thc Dutch Baroque style repousse cushion mirror in pressed decorative brass and ebony ripple mouldings with a cartouche of flowers and vines with original bevelled centre mirror plate. The reverse is also completely original, and this item untouched in form. Recently uncovered from a stately home in the north of England. A wonderful statement piece due to its design and unusual large size.

Condition: This item is completely solid in structure and form, Aged wear and tear in the form of scuffs and scratch marks visual across the surface and weathering patina across the brass, The mercury across the mirrored glass also shows a mottled effect (as you may expect from an item of this age) as shown in the close up photos provided, Loss to the wooden outer corner to the bottom left of the frame is present, however has been repaired with an ebony paint effect. Its strongly suggested to view all photos as part of this advert and propose questions before a purchase is made to avoid disappointment.
