19th Century English Papier Mache tea caddy

We are proud to offer a decorator's joy, this outstanding early English Victorian Papier Mache tea caddy with its shaped body is smothered in the most wonderful black paint detail and a plethora of gilding. The wonderful thing about this caddy is that it is untouched, clean and all totally original with four bone bun feet, the two lids to the interior and the period paper lining the interior of the lid. Without working lock and doesn’t have its key.

Completely solid in structure and form, aged naturally across the surface, without key and replaced bone bun feet.
