Hand carved ebonised elephant table
We are proud to offer a wonderful example of an early 20th Century Anglo-Indian hand carved ebonised elephant decorated table. Elaborately carved and decorated with floral detail, goddesses and elephants. This item has wooden carved tusks in place, with much detail across its tabletop as shown in the photos provided, a highly decorative item which could be easily placed in a corner of a well decorated space.
Dimensions in inches: H 28 x W 26 x D 26
Origin: India
Period: 1920
Condition: A very clean example considering its age, wear across the surface including fading of the ebonised wood in places, a small square section is missing on the edge of the table top, chips and loss of colour in sections reflective of its age are present so please bare this into consideration when viewing all the photos provided as part of this advert, ask questions regarding its condition and any areas you are unsure of before a purchase is made.

It’s quite simple. We buy what we like. We believe that extraordinary items are owned by extraordinary people who live in extraordinary spaces. We are driven by the passion to unearth and offer the most unusual, decorative and rarest objects.

Our house style is probably best described as artistic, theatrical and, even macabre.

We often get asked by our clients, “Where did you find that?” The answer is always the same. Look hard enough and you will find what you seek.
