Early 20th Century Large Indian Occasional Hand Carved Table A highly decorative and unusually large hand carved Indian occasional table. Dated from the first quarter of the 20^th century, made from hard wood and detailed in floral and intricate geometric patterns. The design and style of fret work arch way sections is typical of the northern Indian regions such as Jaipur. Size of inches: H 24 x W 21 x D 31 Completely solid in structure and form, with natural wear and patination across all surfaces due to age and use. The tabletop has a natural split which is superficial and does not affect the stability of the section. The corners of this table have raised up slightly due to age, but this doesn’t affect the stability of the item once positioned correctly. A few pieces of fret work are missing and are shown in the photos provided. This item weights close to 25kg combined which is reflected in the postal costs. In overall presentable condition considering its age and years of use.
