19th Century English Folk-Art Horse Vertebrae in the form of John Wesley Priest.
We are proud to offer a 19th Century antique horse of cow vertebrae bone in the form of a John Wesley priest figure. An aged item with a folk-art twist, this is an aged item dating back to 1850 – 60 and therefore the paint and detail reflect this.
Size in inches: H 6” x W 5.5” x D 4”
Origin: English
Period: Mid-19th Century
Material: Horse Bone
Condition: Completely solid in structure and form. Wear and tear present through fading across the painted surface and a natural patina. its exceedingly difficult to photograph all the areas in this piece therefore we strongly suggest reviewing all the photos provided as part of this advert and propose questions where sections are unclear to avoid disappointment.
