19th Century Steam Train Locomotive Plaque

A rare and unusual example of a late 19th century hand carved railway plaque. This item would likely have been placed inside the main steam train engine room to display its locomotive number. Hand carved from wood with a leather facia and handwritten text. A completely original and untouched piece of Railway history.
