Early 20th Century bone inlay rosewood and ebony carved Syrian folding table
We are proud to offer an unusually oversized square early 20th Century bone inlay carved rosewood and ebony Syrian folding occasional table. Aged naturally this example is oversized and can be folded away with removable top. Made from traditional rosewood, bone, and ebony the detail in the carving is what makes this highly decorative piece of furniture wonderful.
Size in inches approx.: H 25” x W 24” x D 24”
Period: Early 20th Century
Material: bone, ebony, and rosewood
Origin: Syria
Condition: Aged
Completely solid in structure and form, loss to the bone detail specifically on the top section with worn feet and edge areas. Dovetail joints across the folding base, with fading in areas. The top section has a dark mark to one edge, but this doesn’t detract from its decorative appeal.
It is exceedingly difficult to photograph all the areas on this piece. Therefore, we strongly suggest reviewing all the photos provided as part of this advert and propose questions where sections / condition is unclear to avoid disappointment when purchasing.

Period:

1920
