“Tickets Please”
A touch of nostalgic transport memory, in the form of this full set of vintage bus tickets, still sat in their original conductor’s spring-loaded hand-crafted wooden rack. Recently uncovered from a retired bus drivers’ home in the South of London. In his possession for over 30 years. Each ticket is wonderfully faded in colour and worn at the edges, the handmade wooden base has a set of spring-loaded holding sections that the conductor would have pulled the ticket from. A good talking point and still very decorative item in the right setting.
Dimensions in inches: H 6 x W 13 x D 4.5
Origin: English
Period: 1950-60
Condition: Aged through natural wear and tear is present across this item, discoloured and worn in sections across both the wood and paper tickets (this item is old and shows its age). Please view all the photos as part of this advert before a purchase is made.

It’s quite simple. We buy what we like. We believe that extraordinary items are owned by extraordinary people who live in extraordinary spaces. We are driven by the passion to unearth and offer the most unusual, decorative and rarest objects.

Our house style is probably best described as artistic, theatrical and, even macabre.

We often get asked by our clients, “Where did you find that?” The answer is always the same. Look hard enough and you will find what you seek.
