A trio of very rare original publications printed for seminal exhibitions by the American sculptor Louise Nevelson.

ii) Louise Nevelson – A very rare copy of the catalogue for Nevelson’s first London exhibition at the Hanover Gallery, 1963. Stapled 21pp, illustrations in black and white. Very good copy.

iii) Dawn’s Presence – Two. Moon Garden + Two. Nevelson 1976. Published by Pace Gallery New York. Catalogue with illustrations in black and white with several pop-up pages featuring Nevelson’s iconic works. This is a breath taking catalogue which is extremely rare and in excellent condition.

Initially inspired by the interior at The Mint in Rye (our 15th century holiday let in Rye, East Sussex) and requests to purchase items by clients while staying, we decided to start sourcing and selling so people could do just that.

Based between London and East Sussex we have built up a network of specialist sources that we pull from to create the unique edit that is The Mint in Rye.  We offer a mix of vintage textiles, primitive furniture, curios, first edition books, vintage film posters and antique carved oak.  These are not chosen for their age, but very much for their aesthetic appeal.  The visual still remains true to The Mint interior style, but has broadened to include vintage elements that have the same unique view point.

To view the collection, please contact Barrie on +44 (0)7714 764708.  Dependant on the pieces you are interested in, they may be in East Sussex or in London.
