A good quality 1930’s Pitch Pine Museum Display Cabinet, complete with 3 glass shelves and good working lock and key. It has the makers label inside the base. A.Edmonds & Co. Ltd of Birmingham and London. They were museum fitters, and made interior fittings for banks and shops.

Husband and wife team, Andy & Elaine and have been in the Antiques trade since the late 1980’s.  The Old Yard is based at their home, on the outskirts of Oswestry and they have a large showroom filled with carefully selected Antique & Timeworn Furniture, Lighting and decorative pieces for the home and garden.  Andy does most of the buying and especially enjoys dealing in old lighting while Elaine deals with the admin and social media side of things and has a preference towards country furniture.

Currently Appointment Only but please don’t let this discourage you from visiting them, just give them a ring and you will have the whole of the showroom and yard to yourselves!
