Item Description

Two nude sketches signed by C20th Spanish artist Servando del Pilar together with the Atelier stamp. De Pilar was born in 1903 in the Castile region of Spain. His work has a distinctly Postimpressionist style combined with Cubist elements, with the female form being one of his most comfortable subjects. He exhibited at the Salon des Independents and the Salon d'Automne when he was very young and later exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art of Modern Art of Madrid in 1944. Servando del Pilar died in 1990. We aim to give a good representation of the condition of our furniture in both our images and description. Vintage items have all had a previous life and in most cases the condition will show signs of age with wear and tear including scuffs and scratches.
