19th Century Copper Grain /Flour Scoup.

A Fabulous early 19th Century copper scoop. Probably for Flour or grain for use in a large Country House Kitchen.

Super detail at the top of the hand made wooden turned handle.

Lots of signs of wear to the copper and the handle itself which is firm so great to use. It would polish up further but we like it just as it is.

It would be a fabulous piece for a coffee shop maybe or a similar setting to scoop up grains or beans!

All in all a really lovely piece with acres of charm and warmth. If only it could talk and tell us about all the people that have used it daily down the years it would be a fascinating insight into 19th Century life.

We have a huge range of beautiful things, each piece lovingly chosen to enhance our store and your home. Antique shopping in the 21st Century is as much about the style and look of a piece as it is about its age, and with this in mind we stock pieces from the 17th Century right up to the present day.

The only question we ask ourselves when buying stock is, would we have this in our home? If the answer is yes, then we happily purchase the item for our store.

We are sure you will love our stock as much as we do, so please do come and see us one day. In the meantime, you can find the vast majority of our pieces in the online store, so please do have a browse.
