A Pair Of 19th Century Staffordshire Highland Figures On Horseback.


Handsome pair of 19th century equestrian Staffordshire porcelain Scottish Highlander hunters on horseback. Each bearded gentleman is depicted seated on his horse and one with a successfully hunted deer. Dressed in traditional kilts and robes with hats. Mounted to oval bases with a faint craquelure finish and remnants of gilt trim.

Beautifully modelled with super faces to the horses. Remarkable condition for their age no repairs just one chip to one base as seen in the last image.

Dimensions: 25 cm wide x 36 cm high x 8 cm deep approximately.

Circa: Mid 19th Century/England

Condition: Excellent, wear consistent with age and use. Age appropriate wear and faded gilt trim. Small chip to one base possibly firing damage.
