Item Description
Large late 19th century Capasoni jar from Puglia region in the south of Italy.
Made from terracotta they would have originally been used to store wine or olive oil, with an outlet to release water excess.
Nowadays these burnished vases have an ornamental purpose and are often used as features to enrich the garden or interior space.
