https://www.thehoarde.com/dealers/20th-century-filthStunningly unique French tile table made by the Atelier Cerenne, in Vallauris France. This would have been made late 1940s/early 1950s. The highly decorative and colourful tiles are all hand made, and as such, this is most likely a one-off. The base is wrought iron (its heavy!) with a central flower and leaves adorning the corners. Atelier Cerenne was the art pottery of Charles René Neveux. It was active from 1945 until 1958, the years when Vallauris flourished as a centre of art pottery under the influence Picasso (who lived there and whose impact can't be overstated) and Roger Capron in Vallauris.
