Large 20th Century French School Montparnasse reclining nude painting, signed G. Besancenot and dated 1932.



A striking large-scale reclining nude from the Montparnasse ateliers of the early 1930s Paris, signed and dated 1932. The composition captures the enduring appeal of the Paris School nude, with its softly modelled figure, warm tonal palette and relaxed, intimate pose.
