An imposing English mid 19th century cast iron Lion Door Stop. Of standing form with a wonderful curled back tail with a wedged rectangular shaped base. Weight 4.5 kg & just shy of 9 inches in height. Good condition with its original black finish, uncleaned.  Extremely well cast with fine detailing we especially like the ribcage profile. A timeless & beautiful item which can still be used today for its intended purpose. Sale includes UK inland tracked delivery. Returns are happily accepted.
