A good mid 19th-century hand carved egg & dart pattern oak picture frame with gilt wood inner detail & original plate glass. Overall size 16.75 inches x  14.75 inches. Display area 11 inches x 9 inches. Completely untouched original condition, still has an old family photo inside. The frame is in really good condition with a lovely dark patina.
