We love this Art Deco period desk lamp which we have just finished restoring. The last few images show it while being restored in different stages. We have stripped off a horrible brown varnish, replaced the cable matching the original colour & fitted a convenient toggle switch & new plug. Supplied PAT tested. This unique English circa 1930 beech wood lamp would have been a home made item originally, simply due to the complexities of the joints involved, it was very well made & a lot of time must have been spent creating it. The new toggle switch bayonet bulb holder which we have fitted has an aged brass finish with shade ring & enclosed earth connector. The three core twisted fabric covered cable is a lovely bright apple green. The cable that was on the lamp originally was this colour, so we thought it only right to keep it as original as possible. Fused black 13 amp plug fitted. This beautiful lamp is now ready for use. Sale includes UK inland tracked delivery.
