Item Details

An scarce & outstanding example of an untouched original Utilitarian Brutalist era English Boot Scrape. Mid 20th-century in date. Cast pattern formed concrete with an inset iron bar cross member. Several layers of old flaking paint. Worn, rough & weather-beaten condition, but as strong & robust now as the day it was made. When this was cast it would have literally cost a few pence to make, epitomising Britain's Architectural Brutalist era perfectly. Weight: 15 kg. Dimensions 12" x 7" x 8" (centimetre measurements are also given opposite/below). Sale includes delivery within the United Kingdom. Returns are happily accepted, buyers are politely asked to cover all postage costs if returning. Worldwide delivery is available, please enquire for a quotation.
