An English Late Victorian Cast Iron Door Stop / Door Porter. Height 12". Weight 4.5 kg.


Depicting the ever characterful Mr Punch & his faithful hound Toby, who is dressed as a clown with a quill in his hat. Mr Punch's long curved hat acts as the handle for the door stop. Extremely well cast with a high level of detail & definition. In fabulous untouched condition with the original hand applied polychrome finish which has a deep time aged patina. We absolutely Love It!
