Item Details

Antique Rural Folk Art wrought iron boot scraper in the form of a running fox. By repute from the family we bought it off where it had been in the same family for several generations it is believed to have originated in the Norfolk area. Overall height 46 inches, width 19 inches, depth 8 inches. Weight 20kg. Completely original untouched condition, weather beaten & time worn. Possibly some loss in height off its standing feet, also possibly elements of loss to the foxes tail tip. Stands well, firm & level. It is heavy & robust. Great country look to it.
